Conformal Coating:
Conformal coatings are used to protect electronic circuits from harsh environments where moisture, extreme temperature, vibration and chemical contaminants are present.  In many instances, these coatings need to be removed in order for circuits to be repaired.  Unlike chemical removal techniques, which are often costly and ineffective, micro-abrasive blasting in environmentally friendly and offers precise removal of conformal coatings without impacting circuit functionality.

Micro-abrasive blasting can be used for engraving and etching of virtually any surface.  It is especially beneficial for use with silicon wafer and other electrical components.
